Delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Iraq visited IGU

Istanbul Gelisim University hosted the delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Iraq. During the visit, where information was given about the achievements of IGU; recognition conditions, academic cooperation opportunities and especially issues related to the exchange programs of Iraqi students were discussed.

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), which continues to progress with the vision of "World University" with its qualified education approach and international students and academicians, has the distinction of being the higher education institution with the highest number of internationally accredited programs in Turkey. The Delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Iraq met with Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Necmettin Maraşlı, Prof. Dr. Nuri Kuruoğlu and Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Egeli.

Agreed to work together to increase collaboration opportunities and further enhance future interactions

During the visit, where information was given about the achievements and international recognition of Istanbul Gelisim University, which achieved success on a global scale with its national and international standards; IGU's academic programs, research opportunities and international cooperation projects were mentioned. During the visit, where the participation of Iraqi students in our university and cooperation opportunities for exchange programs were discussed, the delegation discussed the steps to be taken in the future by expressing the desire of IGU and higher education institutions in Iraq to cooperate more.

After the meeting, the Delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Iraq visited Dental Hospital, IGU TTO, IGU TEKMER and Dean of Students. Both sides agreed to work together to increase collaboration opportunities and further enhance future interactions. Istanbul Gelisim University decided to work closely with the delegation on providing more educational opportunities to Iraqi students and strengthening cultural relations.
