Education Extends to the Field at Istanbul Gelisim University: A Model Design from an Interior Architecture Student

Students from the Interior Architecture Department at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts, continue to gain professional experience through industry collaborations. Within this scope, Interior Architecture student Kadir Şengün achieved remarkable success by designing a kitchen as part of a professional project carried out with TD Yapı.

Real-World Project Experience

As part of a project implemented in line with the Interior Architecture Department's practice-based education model, Kadir Şengün created a kitchen design for a residential project in Silivri, Istanbul, conducted by TD Yapı. During the design process, Şengün produced both two-dimensional technical drawings and three-dimensional visualizations, standing out with his aesthetic sensibility and technical proficiency.

Head of the Interior Architecture Department, Asst. Prof. Kadir Öz, shared his views on the student's success story:
