IGU Preference and Promotion Days Are Starting

With the announcement of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) results, the excitement of the university preference period has begun. Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) offers a comprehensive preference and promotion program to help prospective university students manage this process in the best way possible. Starting on July 21, IGU Preference and Promotion Days will continue to welcome prospective students to the campus until August 11.

Guidance from Expert Preference Counselors and Academics

Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with preference counselors and academics at the promotion area set up on the IGU campus. Support will be provided in creating a roadmap tailored to each student’s score, interests, and career goals. During this process, IGU’s developed "Preference Robot" will also provide digital support to students.

Campus Tour and Hands-On Experience Opportunity

IGU's preference and promotion days are not limited to just obtaining information. Prospective students will have the chance to explore every corner of the campus with guides, from laboratories to studios, libraries to social spaces, gaining a closer understanding of university life. In addition, they will be able to chat with current students at department booths and hear firsthand about real student experiences.

Wide Range of Programs and International Opportunities

IGU offers a variety of undergraduate and associate degree programs catering to different interests, from engineering to health sciences, communication to fine arts. Detailed information will be provided about internationally accredited departments, double major and minor opportunities, Erasmus+ exchange programs, and scholarships up to 100%.

Extra 10% Scholarship Opportunity for On-Campus Preferences

Istanbul Gelisim University encourages campus visits so that prospective students can directly experience the university atmosphere and make informed decisions. In this context, all candidates who visit the IGU campus and make face-to-face preferences during the preference period will receive an additional 10% “On-Campus Preference Scholarship” on top of the First 5 Preference Scholarship.
