IGU TTO/TEKMER and LENA Enerji Collaboration: Solar panels will now be transported with ULAV drones!

Innovative projects developed in Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and TEKMER ecosystem continue to commercialize with industry collaborations. In this context, an important cooperation agreement was signed between ULAV Defense Technologies established by IGU graduates and LENA Energy. Within the scope of the agreement, one transport drone was sold to LENA Enerji.

Developed with the support of IGU TTO and with a carrying capacity of 30 kg, this special drone is designed to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of solar panels to the roof where they will be installed.
 
Technological startups are commercializing

This cooperation is considered as an important development that enables IGU's technology-oriented initiatives to step into the commercialization process in the sector. Projects developed in the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem of the university continue to produce solutions to problems by meeting with the industry.
IGU TTO continues to strengthen the research and entrepreneurship ecosystem for its students and graduates, while supporting innovative initiatives such as ULAV Defense Technologies to contribute to domestic and national production. This agreement with LENA Energy aims to create new opportunities in the defense, energy and technology sectors by paving the way for similar collaborations in the future.
