IGU Visited Istanbul Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen

The delegation consisting of Istanbul Gelisim University faculty members visited Istanbul Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (ISTESOB). Gungoren Governor Zeyit Sener also attended the meeting, vocational education activities that can be done with the cooperation of university chambers of art were discussed.

In the the meeting attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Istanbul University Prof. Dr. İzzet Gümüş, Director of Continuous Education Center Asst. Prof. Fatih Fuat Tuncer, Director of Institute of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Nezir Köse, Deputy Director of Institute of Sciences Ümit Alkan and İGÜ Media Coordinator Saygı Ünlü the agenda of tradesmen and craftsmen was evaluated with the Chairman of ISTESOB Faik Yılmaz and the members of the board of directors.

Director of Continuing Education Center Asst. Prof. Fatih Fuat Tuncer touching on the importance of cooperation between universities and non-governmental organizations, said: “ISTESOB one of Turkey's most important NGOs. We would like to come toghether with vocational education activities under the guarantee of our university”.

Chairman of ISTESOB Faik Yılmaz stated that their doors are always open to universities and they would be very glad to work with Istanbul Gelişim Universit.
