Organized by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, The 3rd International Short Film, Video and Photography Symposium was entitled to be supported by the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The symposium, which was held in cooperation with Apart Sanat Derneği, brings together academicians, artists and art lovers and focuses on alternative forms of production in the fields of short films, videos and photography.
The symposium, which is held with increasing interest every year, draws attention to the forms of production that are outside industrial standards and allow speculative creation and pure perception. The event, which encourages the production of ideas, aims to share original, creative and unifying ideas against negativities such as plagiarism, labor theft and the commodification of art.
