Orientation Program for 2025 Starts at Istanbul Gelisim University
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) has launched its orientation program to welcome new students for the 2025–2026 academic year. Aimed at facilitating the transition into university life, the program is designed to help students get to know their faculties, academic advisors, social opportunities, and campus life more closely.
The orientation program will take place from September 15-18, 2025, at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall, located in IGU J Block (Tower) Campus.
Congratulations from the Rector to New Students
On the first day of the orientation, IGU Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin attended the orientation program of the Faculty of Health Sciences, congratulated all new students, and wished them success. Prof. Şahin emphasized that, in line with IGU’s student-centered vision, the university will continue to support students in all aspects of their academic and personal development.
Student Clubs Set Up Information Stands
Throughout the orientation period, various student clubs operating within IGU are also meeting new students through their information stands. These clubs aim to enrich students’ social lives by providing details about their activities and projects that cater to a wide range of interests.

A Strong Start to University Life
The annual IGU orientation program offers students not only a comprehensive understanding of academic processes but also an introduction to social activities and university culture.
Through this special program, Istanbul Gelisim University aims to prepare new students for academic life while helping them take confident steps toward the future with its motto, Progress Knows No Bounds.
