IGU received the YÖKAK Corporate Accreditation Certificate with the Document Presentation Ceremony held at the YTU Historical Bath!

The document presentation ceremony held at Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus Historical Bath Building brought together 12 universities accredited by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK). Istanbul Gelisim University Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin and Vice Rector Prof. Arda Öztürkcan attended the ceremony. YÖKAK President Prof. Ümit Kocabiçak, Vice President Prof. Mustafa Çufalı and members of the board of directors also took part.

Istanbul Gelisim University is on the top!

As a result of the detailed evaluation process completed in December, Istanbul Gelisim University was entitled to receive full accreditation for 5 years with its high standards in the fields of education, research and development, management system and community service. IGU, which belongs to this prestigious group, where only 4 universities out of 35 universities evaluated in 2024 were fully accredited, reinforced its pioneering position in quality management and sustainable excellence in education, and once again showed that it is one of the most internationally accredited universities in Turkey with 65 international accreditations and 45 Turkey Qualifications Framework (TQF) logos.
Within the scope of the ceremony, the documents were first presented to the universities that received conditional accreditation and then to the universities that received full accreditation. Full accreditation certificate of Istanbul Gelisim University was presented to IGU Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin by YÖKAK President Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak and Vice President Prof. Mustafa Çufalı.
