Within the scope of the 2025 call for 2209-A/B University Students Research Projects Support Program by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), a total of 263 project applications were submitted by students of Istanbul Gelisim University. The program, which aims to encourage the active participation of undergraduate and associate degree students in scientific research processes, once again highlighted our students’ strong interest in and productivity toward research culture this year.
Support from IGU Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit and the PROUD Platform
The remarkable increase in the number of applications was significantly influenced by the information sessions, trainings, and seminars held throughout the year by the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU BAP-K), as well as the active launch and use of the PROUD platform. This supportive structure, which enables students to develop their research ideas and prepare more effectively for project processes, has strengthened the overall research ecosystem.
