82 Researchers from 28 Countries Come Together in Global Working Groups
CIRIEC International, which conducts scientific research at the international level, forms various academic working groups in order to be able to analyze current global dynamics from different perspectives. In this context, international research teams comprising a total of 82 researchers from 28 countries across different parts of the world are active.
These working groups carry out scientific studies on today's critical issues such as social economy, public policy, sustainable development, and societal transformation, and encourage international knowledge-sharing.
IGU Academics Accepted into International Research Group
The "Gender and Social Economy" working group, operating within CIRIEC International and bringing together researchers from different countries, is drawing attention as one of the important areas of research in terms of regional development and sectoral transformations.
CIRIEC Türkiye National Committee Members and İstanbul Gelişim University academics Asst. Prof. Aysun Kaya Deniz from the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department of FEASS, and Res. Asst. Zehra Makar Çelik from the Business Administration Department of FEASS, have been accepted as researchers to this prestigious working group.
IGU academics' participation in this international research group demonstrates that the university's scientific work in the areas of gender equality, social economy, and inclusive development has found recognition at the international level, while also contributing to the strengthening of Türkiye's academic visibility in this field.
