The symposium, hosted by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), was held with the participation of Avcılar District National Education Director Emin Engin, Avcılar District Governor Ömer Lütfi Yaran, Chairman of IGU Board of Trustees Abdulkadir Gayretli and Istanbul Provincial National Education Director Levent Yazıcı.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Abdulkadir Gayretli, who expressed his pleasure for the symposium organized under the roof of Istanbul Gelisim University stated that they attach great importance to the professional development of teachers and said:

“Qualified students can be trained by qualified teachers. As part of the 2023 Education Vision, we are ready to do our best for the professional development of our teachers. We will be able to identify problems in education together and overcome problems.”

EXPERT ACADEMICIANS IN THEIR FIELDS ACROSS TURKEY

In the symposium talks by Prof. Dr. Gültekin Çakmakçı from Hacettepe University titled as ‘Being a Teacher in Skill Based Learning Eco System’, and by Dr. İrfan Şimşek from Istanbul University titled as ‘Innovative Training Models, Artificial Intelligence and Education’ were realized.

Symposium continued with the panel titled as ‘Tacher and Restoration of honor of teachers in 2023 Education Vision’, and attended by Expert Psychologist Özkan Şenol, Prof. Dr. Özge Hacıfazlıoğlu, Dr. İrfan Şimşek, Doç. Dr. Feyza Doyran, Historian wrter Erol Kömür, BILSEM manager and counsellor Mehmet Hakan Alşan, and Dr. Kenan Duman.
