Prof. Dr. Gümüşoğlu, was hosted in the GastroBilgiç Talks

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) School of Applied Sciences Department of Gastronomy hosted the Faculty member of the Sociology department at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Firdevs Gümüşoğlu within the scope of GastroBilgiç Talks.

In the meeting oganized by the students of Departmnet of Gastronomy Ayşe Nur Tevrüz, Cemre Pelin Demir, Esra Nur Özdemir, Faruk Karapınar, Emrah Özaltın, and Erkan Geve Prof. Dr. Gümüşoğlu evaluating gender and collective gender issues from a different perspective in the textbooks of primary and secondary education in 1980’s, made a presentation titled “Gender”.

Gümüşoğlu emphasized the social problems of women in terms of education, economy, politics, law, culture, family relations and psychology and the steps taken in recent years.

Head of Gastronomy Departmen at IGU School of Applied Sciences Asst. Prof. İsmail Hakkı Tekiner at the end of talk presented flovers with gratitute to Prof. Dr. Gümüşoğlu for her contributions to education.
